In a world where everything is online, customers are constantly searching for restaurants, pubs, cafes etc… to go eat with friends and family, a proper online presence, is critical, especially when you’re in the hospitality industry,
You want to be sure that when consumers search for your business online they see the latest information about it, and that the information they need, is there, clearly and up to date, and lastly the information you want them to see.
Getting started;
As a business owner set up an online listing for your business on Google, Trip Advisor, or on other sites you feel necessary for your business to be listed, if you haven’t yet, or if there is already one make sure to claim the business, login and make sure that the details are correct.
As an owner of one of the following hotel, restaurant, cafe, pub, etc.. once you have the listing done properly you need to make sure that the following 2 things are perfectly done:
1# Your business is listed in the proper categories on the above sites, so as a British fine dining restaurant you are listed so and not in the Indian restaurant’s category and the opposite, so the customers find what they are looking for.
2# If you’re just starting or editing an existing listing, add you’re right address, contact details, website address.
3# The menu’s and dietary’s option you offer for example Gluten, Vegan, Kosher Etc..) and the price it’s ranged at, should be clearly stated, so your customer know what to await.
The conclusion makes sure that your business can be found, by the people who are looking for it, by having a proper online presence, These are 3 basics you should get started with ASAP, in the coming article will talk about getting reviews etc.. ( Some good stuff coming.)
